The “Mitre Reload”.

When people speak about the purity and simplicity of football, they often make the claim that anyone can kick a football around on their own, kicking a ball off a wall and honing certain skills for hours and hours.

Unfortunately in Rugby, If you want to practice your pass you need two people, or lots of balls.

Not any more. Mitre have developed a new rugby ball that retains the flight of a normal ball, but it is flat edged on one side, so the ball bounces straight off a wall back to the player who is practicing solo without flying off at crazy angles. Mitre also say it helps to improve drop goal technique and touchfinding. Nice idea, and a must for any young 9 or 10’s.
